If you receive this message and are unable to recall your password, click on the “Trouble logging in?” link located below the “Sign in” button.
Once you’ve clicked on the link, there will be a drop-down of options.
Select “Forgot password.”
You will see the following pop-up:
The information they are referring to would be your username, which is usually already populated when you see that pop-up. If it isn’t, you will need to type in your username and hit submit.
The following message will appear:
You will then receive an email from firstname.lastname@example.org with a link to reset your password.
Note: If you do not receive this email almost instantly, please be sure to check the spam folder of your inbox.
Once you click the link in the email, you will be directed to a screen that looks similar to the login screen. You will be required to enter your username and the captcha that is given. Click “Sign in”.
You will then be asked one of the security questions that you had initially created. Type in your answer and select “Next”.
Then you will need to enter a new password. Re-enter the new password in the “Confirm Password” field and select the “Save” button.
The process of resetting your password will then be complete and you will be directed to your Portfolio Home View.
